Food Distribution and Basic Goods
Food distribution has always been our foundation. We continue to provide nourishment to those in need in every part of the country affected by poverty, unemployment, and disasters. We have a reputation throughout Pakistan as one of the leading organizations in the fight against hunger, and we strive to ensure that no individual goes to bed hungry.
To accomplish this, we:
- Deliver bags of groceries and prepared meals to the families we serve
- Partner with community members to identify and serve those areas that are not typically accessible to the general population
- Support families during emergencies, natural disasters, and economic crises
- Provide daily hygiene necessities
Supporting Marginalized Members of Society
As a responsible non-profit, we stand beside many of the marginalized members, such as women in rural areas and khawajasira (transgenders) who are facing social injustice in Pakistan, and we are committed to supporting these individuals by providing them with the dignity, security, and access to the assistance they deserve.
We focus on:
- Connecting families with available resources for relief from their struggles.
- Advocating for their legal rights and for their inclusion in society.
- Creating awareness of the disparity that exists in the world and the injustice.
- Developing opportunities for individuals to earn an income and develop stability through small business development
We are a true community empowerment organization in Pakistan that facilitates change by enabling families to generate an income.
Empowering Small Businesses
Supporting small businesses is the way we create true change in families and lead them to a life of self-sustainability. With our business support program, we are helping people start or rebuild their micro businesses and become the leading organization for community empowerment in Pakistan.
Some of the ways we support families to succeed are:
- Providing them with the tools, equipment, and training needed to operate a small business
- Providing startup assistance for a micro business
- Guiding them in generating sustainable income
- Giving the family back their sense of independence and ability to believe in themselves again
